Framework Description
Occupational Health Services (PFB5072 LU) is a national framework let by LUPC (London Universities Purchasing Consortium) for occupational health, employee assistance programmes and digital student wellbeing support. It is split into seven lots: national OH and EAP services, national EAP, regional OH lots for Northern England, Southern England, Scotland and Wales, and a student wellbeing digital lot. It runs from 8 April 2024 to 7 April 2027. This framework is used by LUPC, SUPC and APUC.
Context & Use Case
Universities, colleges and other eligible public bodies use it to meet their duty of care to staff and students: pre-placement and health surveillance assessments, management referrals, counselling through EAPs, and digital wellbeing help for students. The regional lots let institutions use providers with local clinics, while national lots suit large or multi-site organisations.

Who Can Apply
Suits occupational health providers, EAP providers and digital wellbeing platforms, ideally with SEQOHS accreditation where it applies and a record in higher education or public services. Applications for this framework are closed, so providers not already on it must prepare for the re-tender ahead of April 2027.
Buyer Benefits
Universities want quick, clinically sound advice that helps managers support staff back to work, accessible counselling, and wellbeing support students will actually use. Using SUPC's agreement gives them accredited providers, regional choice and agreed pricing, without a separate tender for each type of service.
Next Steps
With 7 April 2027 under six months away, the re-tender may be published soon. Check SUPC's framework page for the notice, decide which national or regional lots fit your coverage, and gather SEQOHS status, clinical governance policies, service data and university references.
