Research Management System DPS

Live

Framework Description

SUPC's Research Management System DPS is a dynamic purchasing system for the software universities use to manage research: current research information systems (CRIS), grant and project management platforms, research data management tools, and the integration and reporting that link them. It has two lots, CRIS and Repositories. As a DPS, it accepts new suppliers during its term, which runs until 7 April 2028.

Context & Use Case

Research offices and libraries use it to buy systems that track grant applications and awards, manage projects and outputs, store and share research data, and report to funders and for research assessment exercises. Each requirement is competed among suppliers admitted to the DPS, so institutions can test the market as systems are renewed.

Who Can Apply

Suits research software vendors, CRIS providers, research data platforms and integrators with higher-education experience. As a live DPS, it can accept applications from suppliers that meet the entry criteria, so suppliers can apply now rather than waiting for a re-tender.

Buyer Benefits

Research offices need systems that link with HR, finance and repository platforms, meet funder reporting requirements and support research assessment. A DPS lets them reach new vendors as the market changes and run competitions for each system on standard terms.

Next Steps

Visit SUPC's DPS page for the application route and selection criteria, choose between the CRIS and Repositories lots, then prepare product information, security and data protection evidence, and higher-education implementation case studies. Apply in good time: the DPS ends on 7 April 2028, and the sooner you are admitted, the more competitions you can enter.
