White Goods & Associated Products & Services

Live

Framework Description

White Goods & Associated Products & Services is NWUPC's framework for domestic appliances such as fridges, washing machines and dishwashers, with installation, recycling of replaced units, maintenance and warranty services. It has two lots, one for Great Britain and the British Isles and one for Northern Ireland, and five appointed suppliers. Applications for this framework are closed (it is not a DPS), and it ends on 31 May 2027 with no extension option. This framework is used by SUPC, Crescent Purchasing and APUC.

Context & Use Case

Accommodation teams use it to equip and refresh residence kitchens and laundry rooms, often in bulk during the summer turnaround between academic years, and estates teams use it for staff kitchens and other buildings. Delivery and installation of new units and removal and recycling of old ones are bought together, so one supplier handles the whole swap.

Scope of Services

White goods and associated products (Great Britain and British Isles) White goods and associated products (Northern Ireland) Fridges, washing machines and dishwashers Installation and recycling of replaced units Maintenance and warranty services

White Goods & Associated Products (Great Britain & British Isles); White Goods & Associated Products (Northern Ireland)

Who Can Apply

Suits appliance distributors and suppliers with delivery reach in Great Britain or Northern Ireland, installation teams and compliant recycling of old units. Applications for this framework are closed, so suppliers not already on it cannot join; NWUPC's re-tender, likely around May 2027, is the next opening.

Buyer Benefits

Residence kitchens take heavy shared use, so buyers want durable, energy-efficient appliances, fast replacement when units fail and warranties that hold up. Delivery, installation and removal in one order saves accommodation teams coordinating several contractors in a short summer window.

Next Steps

The agreement ends on 31 May 2027, so the next tender may be advertised over the coming months. Check NWUPC's framework notices, decide between the Great Britain and Northern Ireland lots, and prepare energy ratings across your range, installation and recycling procedures, warranty terms and examples of bulk deliveries to student accommodation.
