Transport For London Furniture Framework

Live

Framework Description

Transport for London's furniture framework, formally the Pan TfL Office Furniture, Equipment and Other Materials Relocation, Installation, Remedial and Storage Services framework, covers moving, installing, repairing and storing office furniture and equipment. Lot 1 was awarded to four suppliers under notice 035387-2024 and runs until 29 July 2029. Lot 2, long-term storage managed services, received no compliant tenders and was not awarded.

Context & Use Case

TfL and the wider GLA Group estate regularly reorganise offices and operational buildings, which means moving furniture and equipment, installing new layouts, carrying out remedial work and storing items between moves. The four Lot 1 suppliers handle these services across the estate, supporting office consolidations, refits and changes to how teams use buildings.

Scope of Services

Office furniture and equipment relocations Installation services Remedial works Storage managed services

Lots

Lot 1 - Office Relocations, Installations, Remedial and Storage Services (awarded to four suppliers)

Who Can Apply

Suits office relocation, furniture installation and storage firms with experience across large public estates. Lot 1 is filled by four suppliers and applications for the framework are closed, so others cannot join until TfL re-tenders, likely around July 2029.

Buyer Benefits

A single framework covering moves, installations, repairs and storage across TfL and the GLA Group gives buyers one route for estate changes. Four suppliers provide capacity and competition, and pre-agreed terms let buyers schedule moves without a separate tender for each project.

Next Steps

Relocation and storage firms should note that Lot 2 was not awarded, so TfL may need long-term storage elsewhere. Others can explore subcontracting to the four Lot 1 suppliers, and should build public sector relocation references before the re-tender expected ahead of 29 July 2029.

How Athena Can Help

Athena can help relocation and storage firms prepare for the next TfL procurement. Our bid/no-bid support for relocation firms helps you decide whether and how to bid, and our relocation tender writers can present your move management and storage capability with clear pricing.

In the meantime, our registration and pipeline service can find other office relocation frameworks across the public sector so you build references and a track record with large estates before 2029.
