Framework Description
The University of Greenwich's Minor Works dynamic purchasing system (DPS) is a route for buying minor construction works and related services for the university's estate. As a DPS, it stays open for new suppliers to join throughout its life, which runs until 23 February 2029. Admitted contractors can then be invited to compete for individual minor works projects.
Context & Use Case
The university needs small and medium works to maintain and improve its estate. Rather than tendering each job, it can run quick competitions among admitted contractors, sized to each requirement. This suits work that is smaller in scale but frequent, where speed matters, and new contractors can be admitted throughout, so the pool can grow as needs change.
