YPO's Building in Use Support Services DPS (reference 879) is a Dynamic Purchasing System for the 'hotel services' that keep occupied buildings running. Its nine lots cover catering, cleaning and caretaking, security and reception, CCTV, car parks, mobile patrols, food hygiene inspection, waste and a whole-house lot. It ends on 23 February 2029 and cannot be extended.
Context & Use Case
Councils, schools, academies and other public building managers use it when they need a contractor to feed, clean, secure or monitor a site. Buyers run a competition among firms admitted to the relevant lot, or use Lot 9 to put several services with one provider, which suits multi-service sites such as civic buildings and schools.
