Framework Description
YPO's Critical Incident Management and Public Safety Software and Systems DPS (reference 1218) is a Dynamic Purchasing System for incident management and public safety technology. It covers everything from off-the-shelf software to full end-to-end solutions, with associated hardware. New suppliers can be added during its term, and it runs until 12 February 2029.
Context & Use Case
Emergency and blue light services, local authorities, and managers of events and public spaces use it to buy systems for running major incidents and keeping public places safe. Each requirement is put to the suppliers admitted to the relevant lot through a competition, which suits both small software purchases and larger integrated systems.
Scope of Services
Lot 1: Critical incident management software and systems Lot 2: Public safety and place management software and systems COTS, open-source and bespoke software and licences Associated hardware and ancillary services
Lots
Lot 1 - Critical Incident Management Software / Systems; Lot 2 - Public Safety and Place Management Software / Systems
Who Can Apply
Software vendors, systems integrators and hardware suppliers with incident management or public safety products. The DPS is live, so firms can apply now for one or both lots and then compete for buyers' requirements until 12 February 2029.
Buyer Benefits
Blue light services and councils can buy specialist software without a long tender, which matters when systems must be ready before a major event or after an incident review. Being able to buy anything from a licence to a complete system with hardware gives buyers flexibility as needs grow.
Next Steps
YPO's 1218 page links to the application. Decide whether your product fits Lot 1, Lot 2 or both. Prepare security accreditations, hosting and data protection details, resilience and uptime evidence, and examples of use by emergency services or councils. Apply early so you are admitted before buyers run competitions.
How Athena Can Help
Athena's DPS entry support prepares and checks your application for each lot, making sure the security, data protection and compliance answers are complete before you submit to YPO.
Once you are admitted, our bid writers for software tenders help you win competitions with clear responses on resilience, interoperability and implementation, backed by pricing models.
