Framework Description
YPO's Drones and Associated Services DPS (reference 1148) is a Dynamic Purchasing System for public bodies buying drones, also called unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and related services. It has two lots: supply of drones with maintenance and accessories, and drone services. It has no extension option and closes on 5 March 2027.
Context & Use Case
Police, fire and rescue and other blue light services are major users, alongside councils and other public bodies. Drones are used for surveillance, search and rescue and other operational tasks. Buyers run a competition among the suppliers admitted to the relevant lot, either to buy aircraft or to commission drone services.

Who Can Apply
Drone manufacturers, resellers, maintenance firms and drone service operators. The DPS is live and accepts new applications, but it closes on 5 March 2027, so suppliers that want to compete for work under it need to apply soon.
Buyer Benefits
Blue light services can buy aircraft or commission drone operations quickly, which matters when kit needs replacing or a new capability is needed. Separate lots for kit and services let buyers choose between owning drones and paying for flights, with suppliers already checked by YPO.
