Emergency Response and Rescue Equipment DPS - 1110

Live

Framework Description

YPO's Emergency Response and Rescue Equipment DPS (reference 1110) is a Dynamic Purchasing System for rescue equipment, protective clothing and related services. Its ten lots cover water rescue, hoses and pumps, working at height, road traffic collision tools, lighting, rescue tools, shelters, thermal imaging, smoke control and land and sand rescue. It has run its full four plus one year term and ends on 16 June 2027.

Context & Use Case

Fire and rescue services are the main buyers, alongside other emergency services, local authorities and public bodies that hold rescue kit. Each purchase is competed among the suppliers admitted to the relevant lot, so a service replacing its thermal imaging cameras only invites suppliers of that equipment. Lots also cover services linked to each product type, such as servicing and support.

Who Can Apply

Manufacturers and distributors of rescue equipment, PPE and associated services for emergency services. The DPS is live and still admits new suppliers, but it ends on 16 June 2027 with no further extension, so firms should apply soon to have time to win work under it.

Buyer Benefits

Fire services can replace operational kit quickly through a lot-specific competition rather than a full tender. Lots match the way rescue equipment is specified, so buyers compare like with like, and every supplier admitted has already passed YPO's selection checks.

Next Steps

Apply through the 1110 page on YPO's website before the DPS closes on 16 June 2027. Prepare product test certificates and standards compliance for each lot, training and servicing offers, and examples of supply to fire and rescue services. After June 2027, watch YPO for a replacement emergency equipment procurement.

How Athena Can Help

Athena's rescue equipment DPS applications service prepares and checks your submission for each relevant lot before the June 2027 closing date, including the test certificates and standards evidence each lot needs.

Once admitted, our fire service bid writers set out product performance, training and aftercare in the way evaluators score, with pricing modelled to compete. Our public sector tender planning helps you prepare early for the replacement procurement, so you are not starting from scratch when this DPS ends.
