Fleet Management DPS - 1117

Live

Framework Description

YPO's Fleet Management DPS (reference 1117) is a Dynamic Purchasing System for outsourced fleet services. Its 12 lots range from route and driver risk management to managed stores and workshops, vehicle disposal, breakdown cover, PCN handling, livery and driver CPC training. It has no extension option and runs until 24 February 2029.

Context & Use Case

Councils, emergency services and other public bodies use it to buy whole fleet management or individual services. A council might outsource its workshop and stores, or simply buy breakdown cover or licence checks. Buyers then hold a competition among firms admitted to the relevant lot.

Who Can Apply

Fleet management companies, workshop operators, breakdown and recovery firms, vehicle disposal and auction houses, livery firms, licence checking providers and driver trainers. Applications are open now, lot by lot, for as long as the DPS runs.

Buyer Benefits

Fleet managers can outsource one function or the whole operation through the same route, which suits councils reviewing in-house workshops. Competition within each lot keeps prices sharp, and specialist lots such as PCN management and driver CPC let buyers fill gaps quickly.

Next Steps

Start your application from YPO's 1117 page. Choose your lots carefully and prepare evidence such as workshop accreditations, O-licence compliance support, recovery coverage maps, driver training approvals and public sector fleet references. Once admitted, respond quickly to competitions in your lots.

How Athena Can Help

Athena's dynamic purchasing system applications service matches your services to the 12 lots and prepares a compliant application.

When councils invite bids, our fleet services bid writers build win themes and pricing for workshop and outsourcing contracts, including TUPE costs where staff transfer. Our bid/no-bid decision support helps you focus on the competitions you are most likely to win, given your locations and capacity. Each DPS response gets a final check so O-licence and workshop evidence lines up with the lot.
