Metering and Meter Data Services DPS - 1056
Framework Description
YPO's Metering and Meter Data Services DPS (1056) is a Dynamic Purchasing System for heat metering, automatic meter reading for water and wastewater, and metering data and asset management services. It has five lots and runs until 28 October 2028, with no extension. Unlike frameworks that are closed to new applications, it admits new suppliers throughout its term.
Context & Use Case
Public bodies use 1056 when they need meters installed and commissioned, readings automated, or meter data collected and managed, often to improve billing accuracy and understand energy and water use across their estates. Each requirement is put to competition among the suppliers admitted to the relevant lot, so a firm admitted today can bid in the next competition for its lot.

Heat meter installers, water AMR providers, meter operators and data collectors can apply to join while the DPS is open, provided they meet YPO's selection criteria for each lot. Lots 3 to 5 each cover data collection, meter operation, asset management and sub-metering for a different area, so check the DPS documents to see which matches your market.
