Framework Description
YPO's Office Supplies framework (1201) gives public sector customers a compliant route to office products and related equipment, from paper and pens to janitorial supplies and IT consumables. Its contract notice is 2023/S 000-033811. It is a single-lot framework with national coverage, closed to new applications and running from 21 February 2024 to 20 February 2028, with no extension.

Schools, councils and other public bodies use 1201 to furnish or restock offices without running their own procurement for routine items. YPO's page says customers can buy across the appointed supplier's full office supplies range rather than a fixed list, which suits organisations placing frequent small orders.

Office supplies wholesalers and online resellers able to serve customers nationally suit this framework. Applications are closed and it cannot be extended, so suppliers not appointed must wait for the re-tender, which YPO will need to run before 20 February 2028.

Routine office purchases are low in value but high in volume, and buyers do not want to run a procurement for each one.
