Framework Description
YPO's Road Marking, Surfacing and Traffic Management DPS (772) is a Dynamic Purchasing System for road marking and surfacing products, equipment and installation, retro-reflectivity equipment and testing, and temporary traffic management. It has five lots and runs until 24 February 2029, with no extension. Suppliers can apply to join at any point while it is open.
Context & Use Case
Highway authorities and other public bodies use 772 for marking, removal and surfacing work on highways, car parks, footpaths, cycle paths, sports grounds and runways, including permeable and non-permeable surfaces. Retro-reflectivity lots help them check that markings stay visible, and the traffic management lot keeps works safe. Each requirement is competed among admitted suppliers in the relevant lot.

Who Can Apply
Road marking contractors, surfacing installers, product manufacturers, retro-reflectivity testing firms and traffic management companies can apply now, as long as they meet YPO's criteria for each lot. Admission does not guarantee work, but it lets you bid in every competition for your lots until 24 February 2029.
Buyer Benefits
Faded markings and poor surfaces are safety and liability risks, and highway teams want contractors they can appoint quickly. A DPS gives them suppliers already checked, and the separate testing lot lets them measure retro-reflectivity independently. Having traffic management in the same system means the safety arrangements can be bought alongside the works.
