Framework Description
YPO's Stairlifts and Associated Services framework (1314) covers the supply, servicing and maintenance of seated and perch stairlifts, step lifts, inclined platform lifts, vertical through floor lifts and ceiling track hoists. It supports local authority adaptations teams and commissioners. Applications for this framework are closed, and it runs until 25 August 2030, with no extension.
Context & Use Case
Local authority adaptations, commissioning and housing teams use 1314 to install lifts and hoists that let people stay safely in their homes, and to keep existing equipment serviced. Lots 1 to 6 cover supply and installation, sub-lots 7.1 to 7.6 cover servicing and maintenance, and Lot 8 lets a buyer combine requirements across lots in one call-off.

Who Can Apply
Stairlift and hoist manufacturers, installers and maintenance providers suit 1314. Applications are closed, so new suppliers cannot join until it is re-tendered, likely ahead of 25 August 2030. Appointed suppliers compete for call-offs in their lots and for multi-lot awards.
Buyer Benefits
Adaptations teams work to tight timescales, for example to keep someone safely at home, and need installers they can instruct quickly. Separate servicing lots let them keep existing equipment safe, while the multi-lot call-off allows a council to buy installation and maintenance together under one contract.
Next Steps
Appointed suppliers should prepare for call-offs with evidence of installation lead times, safety compliance and service response times. Others should check YPO's page (https://www.ypo.co.uk/frameworks-home/900689) and, with nearly four years to run, build council adaptations references and maintenance capability ready for the re-tender before 25 August 2030.
How Athena Can Help
For suppliers on 1314, Athena's competitor-aware bid writing helps you win call-offs and multi-lot awards with answers on lead times, safety and user care, priced to stay profitable over a contract that may include years of servicing.
If you are not on it, our long-range framework planning maps other adaptations routes open now and prepares you for the 2030 re-tender, and our council tender support helps you win standalone adaptation and maintenance contracts that build references.
