Vehicle Telematics and Journey Recorders DPS - 750

Live

Framework Description

YPO's Vehicle Telematics and Journey Recorders DPS (750) is a Dynamic Purchasing System for fleet tracking and journey recording technology, split into two lots: vehicle telematics and vehicle journey recorders. All its extensions have been used, and it runs until 24 February 2029. Suppliers can apply to join at any point before then.

Context & Use Case

Public sector fleet operators use 750 for live vehicle tracking, driver timesheets, route replay, geofencing, speed and driver behaviour monitoring, and route planning, with data exported to Sat Nav and ERP systems. Journey recorders, including accident cameras, provide evidence after incidents. Each requirement is competed among the suppliers admitted to the relevant lot.

Scope of Services

Lot 1: Vehicle telematics – live tracking, timesheets, route replay, geofencing, driver behaviour, KPI reporting and route optimisation Lot 2: Vehicle journey recorders, including accident cameras Data export to Sat Nav and ERP systems Connectivity with smartphones and tablets for navigation, messaging and workflow

Lots

Lot 1 - Vehicle Telematics; Lot 2 - Vehicle Journey Recorders

Who Can Apply

Telematics providers, vehicle camera and journey recorder suppliers, and fleet technology firms can apply to join while the DPS is open, provided they meet YPO's selection criteria. Entry is possible until 24 February 2029, and joining sooner gives you more competitions to bid for.

Buyer Benefits

Telematics data helps fleet managers cut fuel use, check driver behaviour and plan routes, while journey recorders protect councils in insurance claims and complaints. A DPS gives them a pool of vetted suppliers and a fast competition route, and open entry keeps newer technology providers in the market.

Next Steps

Read the DPS documents on YPO's page (https://www.ypo.co.uk/frameworks-home/900237), decide whether to apply for telematics, journey recorders or both, and prepare evidence of data security, system integration and public sector installations. Apply through YPO's portal, then build a reusable response pack for competitions before the DPS closes on 24 February 2029.
